Surprise your users: when you’re in Photojojo’s (@photojojo) checkout process, you’ll be greeted by a little robot when you input your name. Creates a personal touch.

Surprise your users: BestVendor (@bestvendor) uses a dog image (surely part of some meme out there) to baffle the users right before sign up. It’s a simple way to inject some humor into an app (you might try to target a certain fanbase like Dropbox’s Drew Houston did so skillfully here) .
